Meet John Miller

Thank you for taking the time to check out this new and exciting web site! Let me introduce myself. My name is John Miller and currently I am a realtor with Prudential Select Properties. I served 14 years in local law enforcement, starting in the city's 9th District in 1980. I spent 3 plus years at Ballwin PD before returning to the city's 6th District until I retired.

I've been trying to keep somewhat informed and in touch with a few of the guys. So, as I was reading some of the 'cop talk' sites, I realized a lot of coppers were on there asking for contractor referrals. As a result I came up with MutualAidSTL.com, a web based 'yellow pages' type registry. This site is just an adaptation of an earlier idea, circa 1980, when we had an 'ole hand written' page of services that officers did on the side, posted at the watch desk.

Remember, by posting your business information on MutualAidSTL.com you give the police-fire/ems community a place to get 'peace of mind' services. Also, remember this is FREE to police officers, firefighter/ems personnel, those retired from these professions and spouses. Ad space will be made available for a relative's business and for an 'exceptional business' not related to pol/fir/ems that come recommended. For obvious reasons realtors will not be eligible to post on the site, sorry. See member information and policies for details and restrictions.

I hope to help you grow your businesses, provide some intra and inter department commingling and to get some extra dollars into your pockets and to the BackStoppers. I hope MutualAidSTL.com will become a valuable resource in the community and I'm looking forward to talking with many of you soon.

This career you choose, being 'on the job'. It comes with sacrifice and requires dedication, it is thanklessly hard. From my family to your family, sincerely, thank you. Keep safe and make sure you are able to go home after every shift. God Bless.
